It's been a beautiful, sunny and very spring-like day here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept really well. Had a fabulous morning in the company of a dear friend and her two dogs, walking around the community orchard and local nature reserve. It was one of her dog's birthday too - Izzy turned 9 - and the doggy chocolate went down a treat with both woofers. I've finally managed to put in a walk without hobbling at the finish, but I still can't wear my new walking boots. The lump on my foot is slowly diminishing, so maybe in a couple of weeks...
Had a lovely luncheon of sourdough toast, smoked Brunswick ham, boursin cheese, fruit and then a HCB with butter & marmalade. As well as a

Spent the afternoon puttering around the garden doing bits here and bits there. Nothing too strenuous, but very enjoyable. I picked some daffodils to put in a vase on the dining room table, but only a few. I prefer to see them in the garden. They're late this year, but looks like I'll have a nice display once they do get going.
