Ah, but you don't know when, where or how. Which means I can keep my free Costa cake to myself!
Possibly by rail replacement bus service. Which aren't as frequent as the rail services.

So we just look for the most bored, fed up looking passenger getting of these services at Leeds.

:hello: from a slightly delayed arrival in Lincoln thanks to a change of routing caused by a late departure from Kings Cross. Coffee, a shower and a shave have been had and next is a shortish walk to The Engine Shed for this evening's entertainment.

It's been a mild, grey and damp day here chez Casa Reynard. Wet overnight, and currently hosing down with rain again.

Did not sleep well. I despise insomnia. Treated myself to a lie in, and have had a gentle day. OK, I split a box of logs, and at tea time, put some presentable clobber on (i.e. NOT a onesie) and tootled off to Tesco as groceries were needed.

Yellow stickers were thin-ish on the ground. Nothing at all to be had in the bakery, the green bins were full of haircare products and assorted varieties of falling down water, and the fruit & veg reductions consisted of a few boxes of salad and some packs of pre-chopped onions Chilled was mainly pies (steak & kidney and chicken & mushroom) and packs of expensive free range chicken. The former didn't appeal to me and the latter were not worth taking. And in any case, I don't actually need any poultry on account of having all that turkey in the freezer...

I did pick up two trays of sausage rolls, a pack of mortadella, a large box of "finest" coleslaw, a dozen free range eggs, two individual orange & caramel cheesecakes and a pack with two basa fillets. Not to be sniffed at.

Had egg & avocado on toast for supper, and now going to sit down and watch MOTD in a bit.
