Good morning from a 4th floor hotel room in Lincoln. I get all the good views from my room - yesterday it was an office block, today it is a multistorey car park.

Yet another overly large cooked breakfast has been had to see me through most of the day which means it's time for a short rest before the next leg of my weekend away.

Dull and 6 degrees feeling damp if not actually raining. Stuff on kitchen worktops rearranged; this am, surprising how much would go in a cupboard or drawer when thought about.
20 years ago I had put an extension lead in for the then microwave as it would overload the fused spur to the fridge freezer. A quick check of the rating of todays applicances shows no chance of the 13A fuse blowing so extension removed.

Not done much today, paying for the mile and a half I did on crutches yesterday at a Post Grad Open Day at Uni. Hoovered out MrsF's car as it was full of dried mud from her 'swimming' trips.
