Good morning from Suffolk where for the second day in a row it's a bright, sunny & chilly start to the day. Coffee has been had and yesterday's washing has been put away now it's dried out.

Nothing to do today other than to relax and enjoy the day.

drats but that def. sounds like a repair at your earliest convenience. I have a slow leak, whereby I can pump it up for a ride & have no issues. but a few days - 1week later, it needs to be pumped back up. I'm hopping to repair it before my next ride, but we'll see ...

Having had a look at the weather forecast, I may leave the puncture repair until tomorrow morning when it's supposed to be wet out. I'm lucky in that I've got quite a few other bikes to choose from to use if one has a flat or other work that needs to be done.

I'm in work covering for someone else's classes. If I park here it's £25 for the day.

Park and ride is a 20-minute £4 bus and 15-20 minute walk. And the wait for the bus. It took me 50 minutes each way on the one time I tried it.

Pre-injury I've been occasionally using the park and ride but instead riding in as it's 12-15 minutes each way on the bike.

So I've parked at the park and ride then walked into work. Took 42 minutes.

So basically it's taking the same time / could be faster to walk it as the bus. And I'm £4 better off!

I have been out on my ride with my friends .not was sunny but chilly out. Halfway round I came off my bike, oops bouncy bouncy ouch! I was trying to put my foot into a plastic rat trap. They are useless things. I usually end up standing on them because they are floppy. I leant down to hold it open and wandered off hitting a kerb and went down. I was wearing motorcycle gloves which saved my hands but I think I bruised my hip. 8 will attack the offending thing with my tin snips!

I've cut the offending thing off!
I was halfway round when it happened. I've had a hot bath. I've got a loomp on my thigh and a small cut and a small cut on my elbow. I have dented my GTN spray which was in my pocket.

A mostly sunny and quite chilly day here chez Casa Reynard.

Sleep was fitful due to lady issues and from having stiffened up something dreadful following some seven and a half hours behind the wheel yesterday. On a clear run it's just under the 3 hours each way, but I didn't have a clear run. Loads of roadworks both ways on the M3 which chewed up a lot of time, then on the way home there was a 4-car pile up on the M1 near Welwyn, and the the slip road to get onto the M11 from the A10 at Harston Mill was closed, so had to go a junction southbound in order to go northbound. (The other option was driving through Cambridge, which is the option of last resort.)

I did largely escape the rain yesterday, which was good, but it was cold and damp and not particularly pleasant. Still, it's very satisfying to do the right thing for all the right reasons.

I have had a quiet day today, only doing the bare minimum.
