thankyou - it is very efficient, it will of caught 100+ over this past few years
when they discover the bird feeders they just won't go away, they need to be caught and relocated usually to the other side of the river, the one above I will drop off on the way to the railway station this morning - may be I should take him up to edinburgh on the train (only joking I will leave in a lay by somehere)
I can nae harm them,

Madam Lexi does her fair share of rodent control, but here out in the boonies, it's a losing battle. Ergo I use a spring trap that's located inside a large tupperware where Madam can't get her paws in. I'd rather not have to use kill traps, but sometimes a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Mind, not had any takers recently...

And at least I've not seen any rats this winter.

Right, time to bank the fire for the night and head off to bed.

Nunnight one and all xxx :hello:

Morning.
It is dark out and I'm not sure what it's doing.
I was in an alright mood until I switched our new Sony TV on. It's got dementia! Ooh! I wish we hadn't bought it now! Our old LG was working, perhaps the sound had gone down a bit. The main reason was that we couldn't get I Player things. What do I hate about the Sony? I switched it on this morning and am greeted with a whole host of things to watch. I pressed 3 on the controller for ITV, BBC 1 came up. I pressed 3 again and BBC 2 came up. I don't like the way that the programme guide is displayed , the colours are wrong to be able to see where you are, grey and dark blue. I haven't noticed an improvement in the picture quality over our old one. Some programmes can be started again if we missed the beginning but on the whole it is bl**dy annoying!

Maybe you are pressing the button too long. Could be a long press on 3 flips between the last two previously viewed channels.

Good morning from Suffolk where coffee has just been had. Another chilly start to the day, but no idea of what the weather's like as we have thick fog.

Heading up to Norwich later on for a few hours, but Greater Anglia have already cancelled the Ipswich-Norwich train due to signalling problems giving me half an hour less time there than expected. Yet another Delay/Repay claim to be submitted!

Whatever it is it's not making me very happy. I have read some people's feedback complaining that it was slow. I'm now seeing their point of view. Some people praised it but they may have been used to Sony. It was hard picking a TV and I was swayed by our daughter and a friend but I'm beginning to regret it.

Minor panic last night. Bought a 'new to me' car at weekend. Popped to the shops for food, came out, jumped in car, turned on, then everything died, nothing, no interior lights the lot. Wouldn't even lock. Oh bugger. Fortunately my son was there, popped the bonnet and found the 'battery' has so called "quick release" connectors on the terminals, the positive hadn't been clipped down properly by the garage ! I didn't know more modern cars had these things. No point in the quick release TBH, as there is loads of stuff attached to the battery so it's not going to be quick to get out.

A lady in a pickup next to us offered her jump leads !
