Bottles have been banked, an hour's walk has been had, the bedding has been changed and the recycling bin is out the front of the house ready for emptying on Monday morning. More was done than expected, mostly to keep moving and warm on a miserably grotty and cold day.
Given what is happening over the pond tomorrow, I must find a way of avoiding TV & radio news for the next 24 hours at least.

Morning.
It is dark here but Georgie came in all damp so I assume that we have drizzle.
It is nice when a plan works out. I recently bought another bike.
"Who Me!"
Biggsy pointed it out to me and it was only at Bathwick so I naturally popped along and bought it. It had a minor problem. The R/h rear dropout had snapped in half. Yesterday I set about welding the two bits back together. The wheel now fits. I just have to finish cleaning up the repair.

The great thing about my apprenticeship was the variety of engineering we were exposed too, it would have been great to have continued in some of the areas, but a choice had to be made.
