Yes. Thanks. It was fine. I thought that it was worth taking a chance on it . It looked from the pictures that a part of the dropout might have to be made or another one bought but it turned out to be still attached to the rear mech.

took my bike to bits thursday night to do some maintenance - forgot all about it. so its still in bits and I am wanting to be on the road before 12. And I really can't be bother to go into tht freezing garage this morning

Good morning from Suffolk where, if anything, it's even greyer and more overcast than yesterday. I needed to put the kitchen lights on while making this morning's coffee!
Nothing really needs doing today so I may have a short ride to the bottle bank in a little while and possibly out for a walk later this afternoon.

not much better here +2 damp and grey, can't say I am that interested in this afternoons ride, rather stay at home in front of the fire and read my book and eat things like Tea Cakes and Scones with too much butter applied - what a lovely way that would be to spend this afternoon

Car to Asda and Waitrose and for once Asda had bananas that were not dark green.
Milk and as usual cottage pie on on voucher offers at Waitrose. No sign of their own free newspaper; has been noticeably adsent since early December although the stands for it reappeared a couple of weeks back.
