Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Thanks @Speicher & @Ming the Merciless - useful ideas. The only cardigans I saw had me turning into Victor Meldrew at the sight of them.

@rockyroller - I can't get anything over my hand easily at the moment, hence short-sleeved shirts, etc. as the simpler the better works best and there's not always someone here to help. Flexibility isn't great either due to where the skin for the skin graft was taken from.

Progress made and I should be a bit warmer whilst not looking like a nonogenarian.

Got one of those seemingly dead power banks working. It was saying it had 25% charge but never moved from that when trying to charge it.
I plugged a sportscam battery charger into it which it did appear to power correctly. Left until the lights on charger went out and thereafter it charged upto 100%. Will now charge the phone.

It's been a raw, grey, foggy and drizzly kind of day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept OK-ish, but I was too late to get to the Post Office before the mail is lifted at 11 am. Ergo the trip was deferred to Monday. Don't mind a letter hanging around till after the weekend, but not a parcel. So just puttered around doing chores.

Luncheon consisted of sausage rolls with a dab of mustard, an apple, a persimmon and a :cuppa:

This afternoon's task was dismembering and deboning the second turkey. That has been successfully accomplished. Although I didn't do the wings on this bird and froze both together in a pack. They'll be nice glazed and slow roasted... But there is now NO space in the freezer. Although a friend will be taking one breast and one leg at some point next week, hopefully. Either way, given that I also froze the second tomahawk steak to give me the time and space to finish the stuff in the fridge, I judged things pretty well. I will go stickering on NYE, but will be after things like sausage rolls and snacky bits.

The second carcass is now in the stock pot and simmering away. I will need to skim the fat off the top at some point. That stock will be fabby, after having had two turkey carcasses and a guinea fowl carcass simmered in it. :hungry:

Cat has been fed (fishy Felix AGAIL) and soon it will be time to feed me.

I decided to go to the National Park for a longish walk. I was lucky with the weather but not as mild as the past few days. Quite a lot of people out and about.

I had soup and a roll in the cafe and I was joined by a bird. (it often happens here as people leave the door open and the birds get in. Can be like an aviary at times.)

What about an oodie? Not sure you'd want to wear one while out and about though LOL
