Nice crisp, frosty morning. The skies were amazing colours on my walk to work. Phone camera can't do it justice.
It's funny that I am the only one who can get here on time, even the trainer is usually late and will be here in ten or fifteen minutes moaning about traffic holding him up.

The weather has brightened up and it is sunny now.
I have been trying out my new old clarinet which I won on the bay. It is similar to the one that I gave to my granddaughter but has a different mouthpiece. I managed to play two lines of Oh Come All Ye Faithful last night. I might have made a few mistakes but I'm gradually improving. Not having played a musical instrument apart from a triangle at school I don't think I'm doing too badly. Still not used to the tadpoles hanging on telegraph wires yet but I can see that at some points I need to take a finger off or on to get the right note.

Good morning from a fourth floor hotel room in bright and sunny Manchester.
Coffees and a large cooked breakfast have been had which gives me about 30 minutes rest before it's time to head to Piccadilly rail station.
