Now that the weather has improved a bit, I ventured out for my walk and Saturday breakfast. Everywhere is a slushy mess.
My downstairs neighbour was being his usual moaning self this morning. He's phoned the electric company three times already and they still haven't fixed it. I'm sure they have a backlog.
They've put the Christmas trees in the cafe up I see.
Just waiting to see what type of plate I get today.
Good morning from a grey, wet & windy Suffolk. Coffee has been had.
There's been rain overnight and occasional showers this morning so I'm going to have to keep an eye on the rain radar to pick the best of the dry sports to pop out to deliver a birthday card and then head to Lidl for some milk and travel snacks for Monday's outing. The rest of the day may be spent on the sofa with plenty of reading material and the football on the radio.
My ball-point pen is working perfectly after undergoing an unplanned machine wash. Also, my 13-long run of uncleaned tumble dryers was broken today. The last user actually cleaned the lint filter and put it back competently!
First part of the days tasks have been completed.
Only 2 actually done the biggest one needs more paperwork to complete.
A late Second cuppa went down well
Morning.
It is dark here but from what I can see it looks wet and windy.
Those of you wishing to go to Barnard Castle for an eye test may have to cancel it and go another day.
