Now that the weather has improved a bit, I ventured out for my walk and Saturday breakfast. Everywhere is a slushy mess.

My downstairs neighbour was being his usual moaning self this morning. He's phoned the electric company three times already and they still haven't fixed it. I'm sure they have a backlog.

They've put the Christmas trees in the cafe up I see.

Good morning from a grey, wet & windy Suffolk. Coffee has been had.

There's been rain overnight and occasional showers this morning so I'm going to have to keep an eye on the rain radar to pick the best of the dry sports to pop out to deliver a birthday card and then head to Lidl for some milk and travel snacks for Monday's outing. The rest of the day may be spent on the sofa with plenty of reading material and the football on the radio.

Cassie indicated, on exiting the house, that she was having second thoughts about a walk. By the end of the drive she was pleading to go back.

The weather cleared up a bit so we went out, which turned into a longer walk.

Then my son asked if she'd like to go with them & their puppy to a dog field. She was rushing around, so it seemed a good idea.

Result, one wet & dirty dog, showered & now snoozing on the sofa.
