Morning.
It is dark here but from what I can see it looks wet and windy.
Those of you wishing to go to Barnard Castle for an eye test may have to cancel it and go another day.

When my friend came round yesterday I tried to impress him with my clarinet playing skills. No sounds came out apart from a couple of squeaks despite my efforts. We were wrong! Sounds were coming out but at a frequency too high for the human ear could manage, only cats, dogs and bats could hear the sounds and dogs in nearby neighborhoods must have gone wild on hearing such tuneful music!
If any of you notice your animals acting strangely later today it might be down to me practicing on my clarinet!

First cuppa went down well
It's an almost clear view across to the Bozeat straight this morning just a bit grey , but not as bad as expected yet...

Another busy day today and I hope a few of my tasks go easier than I am expecting.

Also got to fit in a hospital visit which will involve a trip along the A14 so deep joy , but at least we have meat pie for tea later

I'm finding that I can't stand the sight of Tesla cars now. Strange how the behaviour of it's founder can have such an effect.

When I got up this morning and pulled back my bedroom curtains it looked horrible outside and has not improved since then. Pouring rain battering on my front windows.
Morning ferries have been cancelled with a review about midday.
Library day but not too keen on going out and the entrance is down a short but steep hill I cannot walk.
It could be icy which would give my car problems but not yet checked the outside temperature.
Mainland conditions are bad with heavy snow at Tyndrum and difficulty getting up the hill from Oban side. West end of Glasgow is reported a very slidy slush.
A day for staying indoors.

Given the weather forecast for toady, last night I got a few things weighted out and everything ready for a baking morning.
So now all done and cleaned up its time for a :cuppa: and a fresh from oven mince pie or two :mrpig:.
Always bring backs the memories every time I make them, from helping my mum make them , using my grandmothers bowl and tins to the smells that full the kitchen .
