A damp trip westward along the A14 I bet the easterly trip will be as bad

Shopping has been done and, even on an e-bike, that was hard work with the strength of the wind - to the extent of having to up the assistance level downhill to maintain momentum at one point and having to be vary aware of side gusts & wind shear from the buildings on the seafront cliff top.

I've now made myself comfortable on the sofa with a mug of coffee and a pint of squash on the table beside me, a book ready to be read and a sleeping bag to be used for warmth if it gets chilly.

Just seen a currys advert for a fridge with "Instaview" AKA tv screen on front. To see what's inside without opening the door.
At over £1300 inc £650 off think I can live the hard life and open the door.

Got lucky for once as when I went out to the library the rain had stopped tho’ the wind nearly blew me over. Temp was up to 4.0C so no ice and I was able to drive the whole way in.
As soon as I got back home the rain started again.
Ferry chaos but the Lochaline/Fishnish one started running again about midday. Somebody on the first sailing of the day commented they phoned to make sure their last will and testament was in a safe place before boarding.
The Oban/Craignure cancelled as a foreign object is stuck in the propeller.Awaiting divers.
The snow gates have been closed at Tyndrum to stop northbound traffic and the road to Lix Toll is littered with stuck cars and has also been closed.
The latter bit is not too far from where @Mo lives but just a bit further north and west.

Paid off the builder for the toilet so now i am in the middle of decorating and had a argument with mrs ck about where to mount the toilet roll holder as where she wants it is too close to the toilet for my liking and the obvious place she doesnt want it there .As usual she has a strop and it goes in the place she wants even though it doesnt work .
Mini ck 1 has a bad cough so has been off college all week so if shes not any better by monday we will be back down the doctors
Next week i had to use a holiday to take mrs ck to the hospital for a retina scan which may involve a needle in the eyeball as the eye test at the clinic last week has raised some issues and the doctor wants to see here asap .
I am tired and grumpy today as i have been on late shift and with the weather i haven't been near a bike all week so i am in a shout at everything mood today .

Thanks for reading as i just needed to vent as i am need of chill time but dont have anyone i can talk too.
