Supper was cream of onion soup followed by macaroni cheese with ham & spicy chicken. Another good way to use up an excess of mozzarella and stilton.

It's cold and raining so time for this evening's hot chocolate.
In good news corner, I've been given a confirmed date for the solar panel & battery storage installation - 10th December - so I can warn next door about possible noise.

Yep, but I don't do under the sofa. The new one was deliberately chosen as the base is only about an inch off the ground so you can't see any dirt/dust that may be under there.

First day back in the office in many years for the first day of five weeks of training. I always hate the way this company do training. Feels very strange being back in the office to be honest. It's nice to see the people I speak to on the phone regularly and the free dinner is good to have, but overall, I think I prefer the peace and quiet of being at home.

Had my dance class this evening. Bit cold out but not freezing so far. The gritty lorry has been doing it's rounds.

We have snow.

The pavements are covered with wet leaves & it has been raining for quite a while. Now it is snowing, big soggy flakes. Be interesting if it's still there in 7 1/2 hours. Temp is 35F.

Fire is banked for the night and I have decamped upstairs with both varieties of hot water bottle. Am chilling in bed chatting with a friend on messenger.

No snow here. Hosing it down with rain.

We have snow not much but a few inches in placers. So no early morning gym for me, don't mind snow or being out in it. But at this time of the morning you can't see areas to avoid and most of the pavements still have leaves all over place. So don't fancy going over on the stuff on the way in. Just have to move around my rest days.

On the TV this morning on the local news they said that some scientists are looking into the possibility of people being able to live under water permanently.

"What's the weather outside today?"

Morning it was trying to snow earlier and it still is, looks more like sleet than snow.
Hopefully it will be gone by the time I have to drive along the A14
