Reminds me I was going to go to the Fish and Chip Truck Friday, as we have a new one about.

Is it an FCS or an EHJ? Could be a 216 or a 223.
Most likely. Same thing really, just depends where it was made.

Or does it have its own dichroic reflector?

There are more exotic possibilities.

My anorak in this subject area is distinctly beige and very dusty.

FHS, Perhaps? Or ELH? Pretty common on the Kodak Carousel, the ELH, IIRC.

Good morning. Lovely sunrise here.

I thought you meant you'd lost the job!

Thankfully no, although they still have 4 1/2 months to make their mind up. Thankfully there aren't many nerds about with my ridiculously specific set of interests, so they'll probably want to keep me employed unless I do something really stupid.

Did they find out, and sort out, what were behind it.
Hope yer feeling somewhat better now.

Gravity was certainly a problem for a couple of days. There seemed to be a lot of it around here.

I'm pretty much back to 'normal' now so I'll be headed for work tomorrow.

Flashing lights went past at about 6 o'clock this morning so I guess it was the gritting lorry.
When I got up later the outside temperature was 0.6C and the sun appeared at 0815 this morning. When I went through to my kitchen the waning moon could be clearly seen at the same time as bright sunshine at the front of the house.

Need to go down soon and try to book a ferry trip in a couple of weeks. The timetable is so convoluted now I need to wait till I get to the office before finding out when I can travel.

Much internet tears as the MV Hebridean Isles leaves Stornoway for the last time as she has been on that run for 39 years but is now headed for decommissioning ie the scrap heap.
