Back from a good evening out in Norwich although it was a bit closer on fuel than I'd have liked. There was an estimated range of 150 miles worth of fuel shown on the car's computer and a round trip of 100 miles to do - or so I thought. I've not done this drive for over a year and it turns out it's a 115 mile round trip!

But you did travel in Norfolk, a Norfolk mile is very different.

Everything else planned for the day got done at a nicely relaxed pace just to fill out time. The only problem was that Morrisons didn't have everything I wanted - just how can a major supermarket run out of full fat milk AND tomato soup? At least it gave me an excuse for another bike ride to a different supermarket and a bonus pack of chocolate biscuits.

Supermarkets seem to run out of things more frequently these days.

We are looking at buying a new TV. It is confusing. Our old TV is working but we can't get I Player now anda plug in device might not work due to age of our TV. They talk about saving the planet but keep bringing out things which make things obsolete! The next thing is Freely! Do we go for one with that or without?

Try an old, aka second hand, plug in device. Cheaper than a new TV.

Lovely supper of cream of onion soup and a roast beef sandwich accompanied by a :cuppa:

There is a Min Spy with my name on it for later.

Don't remind me: I feel bad enough as it is.

On the other hand, I was getting nausea and dizziness, a severe cough, and had an inconvenient tendency to pass out, so I probably wouldn't have been much help...
I thought you meant you'd lost the job!

If you were like that, you wouldn't have been much help. Did they find out, and sort out, what were behind it.
Hope yer feeling somewhat better now.

I've just been to put this week's bin bag (which is in reality an outer bag from a crisp multipack) into the wheelie bin as it's non-recyclable waste day tomorrow and decided it's not worth putting the bin out front for emptying tomorrow. It's at least 4 weeks (possibly 6) since it was last done and only contains 4 of the multipacks/bin bags, a pair of shoes that have finally given up the ghost and a bicycle inner tube.

Washing was done and on the whirlygig in good time this morning and the lure of the sunshine prooved too much so I went out for a bit longer then planned. Quite breezy and very cold in the wind, but find a bit of shelter and it was lovely in the sunny bits. By the time I got home the washing was dry so that got taken in and I got the clippers out for a bit of hair fettling before I had a shower.

Tea was cooked while watching the rain on the kitchen windows and, other than have the evening's hot chocolate, I've done sod all since.
