Nice morning so far but the forecast isn't great for next week. I've just had my breakfast on a round plate this morning.

I found my gear cables so hopefully will repair my Brompton today.

I also hope the fuel filler neck has arrived for my car as I hope to fit it later. Lying under cars lose its appeal as you get older.

Light rain today a forecast. Not too cold yet but next week does not look good.

Eventually managed to pin down OVO who had been annoying with demands to get an appointment for a smart meter to be fitted. Every time I tried there were no appointments in my area they said while a van is parked in the street doing a neighbour.
They also tell me there is at least a 10 minute wait to speak to anyone but being wise to this I just wait and 10 seconds later the call gets answered. Trouble is it seems to be a call centre in India and I cannot understand most of what they gabble so much time wasted asking for a repeat till eventually I hope get most of it. Next Tuesday is the booked day when it is forecast to be the coldest day and with my meter being outside the fitter will freeze.

Need to go down to Main St as when I passed yesterday I saw a funeral notice in the usual shop window. Better check in case it is somebody I know and need to dig out my funeral clothes.
Parking is a problem particularly as a motorhome has taken up residence occupying 4 car spaces as they have parked parallel to the street in an area of parking at right angles to the street.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's yet another overcast and chilly start to the day. Coffee has been had.

Today is one of those days where there's lots of little things to be done - yesterdays washing to be put away, bedding to be changed and put in the wash, bottle bank run to be done, activated Nectar card to be returned to mum, shopping, sort out the slow puncture from yesterday (or just go for a ride on a different bike). Then this evening I'm off to Norwich Arts Centre to see The Bug Club.
