I can hardly see the transmitter tower on Emley Moor. I can just make it out through all this grey mist. I didn't know that 50 shades of grey was a prediction of our weather?

I saw some cyclists yesterday whilst driving up here , all in black on black bikes. What is with this Stealth look? Don't they want to be seen?

Do the clothing manufacturers make any other colours than black as it seems to be quite common?

First cuppa went down well.
Trail camera retrieved from the garden just one small hog and a few cats caught on it.
Can just about see across to the fields along side the Grendon straight so it must be a bit less grey and it's dry so good.
I bet there will be a water shortage soon

I've cleaned the bird bath out as it had become a bit algae coated & the water had a pigeon flavoured greasy surface..

This mist reminded me of something when I was young. My friend and I were off to play in a field where we used to play when all of a sudden I was hit in the eye by a lump of clay! Splat! A mud pack over my left eye. One of my older friends was hiding in the fog and thrown it scoring a direct hit. My reactions must have been very good as my eye had shut before it landed!

Good morning from Suffolk where it seems to be a bit brighter at long last - still no sunshine, but there's even patches of blue sky visible to the west.

Coffee is being drunk as I type.
