Survived the Markets - actually had a good mooch about Town. Some right characters out there but all good ! Other that a couple of snack stops, MrsF got some local bee produce - honey and bees wax (wax for sewing), we didn't spend much in there, preferring to pop into a couple of establishments for a bit of warmth and beer/food. 14,000 steps later...
Manchester Xmas Market by any chance. We have been a few times seeing our son settled in Manchester after Uni.I thought it was a brilliant market compared to Leeds. But now i have told Mrs P not for me.M62 there and back, just roaming between stalls, crowds not even buying stuff, for me just a waste of time.Bah Humbug.

Two identical suitcases in the luggage racks and somebody took the wrong one when disembarking.
I think they have now been swopped but could be a bit embarrassing.

Hemlock water dropwort which I have never heard of before has been washed ashore near a popular beach in Oban. Highly poisonous to humans and other animals and people are being warned to keep dogs on a lead.

Spent most of the afternoon indoors reading and listening to music of my youth.
The Clyde Valley Stompers made me snivel a bit as they were regulars at Friday dances in the Glasgow University Students Union. Myself and then girlfriend went often and she eventually became my wife of many years until she died in 2015.

It's 15 minutes on the train (when they run) and we know Manchester - hence having a decent beer in a pub instead. Wasn't too busy as we went early.

Have to take your word for that one. Although the waffles Chez Casa Reynard are pretty good, dare I say so myself

Well I know where Cora is and their wine department is excellent . The merqguez are pretty good too.
