I had the 'Key fob battery low' message come up on the car's display when I used it the other day so ordered some new batteries which were delivered while I was away. Picked them up off the door mat when I got home this afternoon, replaced the battery in the fob and went to put the rest away. Which is when I found the remainder of the strip of batteries that I'd forgotten about from the last time I had to replace the battery

Anyhow, other than me being an idiot, very little else of note - the weather continues to be grey, cold & miserable so the heating has been put on for a bit. Also the contents of the overnight bag have been refreshed and it's by the front door ready for when I go off on my travels again on Sunday.

Been to visit a friend in hospital who has been diagnosed with lung cancer earlier in the week. I don't think there is much hope.

Wifey forbids me from giving the new kitten/cat deli meat as a treat so I'm roasting chicken breasts just for her

Six as it turns out. Both purchases were strips of five batteries and one battery from each strip was put into the main fob and the (unused) spare fob. Give it a few years if I keep this car and I'll have nine spares.
