Solved - or at least solved to my acceptance given it's my commuter bike. But somehow buying a pair was cheaper than buying a single one:

Afternoon trip along the A45 and back went well as did my afternoon cuppa

Not so the trip down the M1, past MK, for some.

Working on a stepladder using both hands is beyond me now.

Always been beyond me & anything above third rung. Kudos to those who can.

An Aldi trek this afternoon with no diversions en route. Properly the right thing to do as their was distinct dampness in the air which would have made for an unpleasant bike ride.
Remainding dull outside; suet ball feeder refilled, the sunflower hearts seem as unpopular as the peanuts - blue tit exempting.

A path I walk frequently with Cassie has been surfaced with chippings & had a fence erected. There was some dismay over the fence, but the surfacing has probably removed the need to wander into the field to avoid the quagmire we had last winter.

But I could do with somewhere a bit wild to walk.

I find 2-30 is a good time to go.

Or even just before 2:30.
