Watching The Cure, Radio 2 in concert. Really enjoying the music and voice interplay. A mix of old and new songs. Still got his vocals.

Tried listening to the 6Music interview on Thursday, but his speaking voice sounded more like Noel Fielding's IT Crowd goth character Richmond Avenal than I remember.

A grey and occasionally drizzly day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept so-so. Had a quiet day writing and listening to various sports commentaries. Food was largely bitsas from the fridge. Apart from a few veggies (green beans and spinach) and the roast beef intended for sandwich fillings, there are no more leftovers.

Managed to locate a copy of the 1990 British F3 season review on the Big Brazilian River. Given that they are decidedly uncommon due to being rather niche, even back in the day, I was happy to pay the not unreasonable asking price.

Am chilling in bed. Madam Lexi is next to me, fast asleep.

Good morning from a dark and (from what I can see) dry Suffolk. Definitely the earliest I've been up and about for many months.
Coffee is just being finished and a small bowl of porridge has been had ahead of the drive westwards to Silverstone. Just got to re-boil the kettle to make a flask of coffee and grab the bottle of squash and the snacks and I'm off hoping to be there for the first race at 09:00.

A cloudy day but at least it is not raining.

Is it possible to tell one slug from another? I know it is possible with snails who have a homing instinct by putting dots of paint on their shells. I have done this in the past and it works. Donated them to a neighbouring garden and some time later the same ones were back trying to get at my tomatoes.
There is one slug who appears around my kitchen sink every few weeks. Gets flushed down the loo so you would imagine that would be it gone but after two or three weeks it or another appears again.
There is another one which stravaiges around my hall carpet at night sometimes but never been been able to catch it. It would be a bit messy if I trod on it when visiting the loo during the night.
Outdoors I will need to have a pruning session as brambles are beginning to appear beside my front path. Perhaps if rain stays off and I feel energetic I may do that today.
