Good morning from an overcast and wet Suffolk - we keep getting those fine, misty rain showers that don't show up on the rain radar but produce a lot of wetness.

Coffee has been had with the first biscuit from a newly opened pack of Tesco Shorties. I don't plan on doing much more than taking the car out and getting a tank of diesel and then some food shopping for tomorrow's trip to Silverstone.

Another nice morning here. Been out for my walk with breakfast stop I the middle. A rectangular plate today.

Will be going to visit a friend shortly and will take the opportunity for a bit of a coastal hike.

Miserable and damp from overnight rain start to the day. Not having to rush to Waitrose due to no more free newspaper had an immediate benefit.
Postie delivered a set of new remote sockets bought cheaply off eBay and as suspected the battery in remote was almost flat. New one installed.
More playing with the lounge tv as a result. The tower sockets now hidden behind it as the new remote sockets function well behind the tv unlike the elderly old ones which IIRC were from Maplin. One switches the TV as that has no on off switch.
The others work infrequently used items that have an external psu and no on off - Blu Ray player and a HDMI switch box.

There i was sat on the sofa,thinking i will plug in this lead.So being lazy i leaned left and backwards to plug it in behind me.Wow i nearly hit the roof.What a pain shot through me at the scar site,not doing that again,i swore also, it was so unexpected.
