well we had a handful of trick or treaters. more than last year. still have left over candy to deal with ... ugh

The weird thing was our neighbour, not the sharpest tool in the box, but always goes the extra mile to decorate the front of his house and garden at Christmas, big football matches (yawn), jubilees and of course, Halloween.
All week, he's had giant cobwebs and spiders, ghosts, pumpkins and lanterns.
Then on the big night itself, he switched off all his lights and lanterns and spent the evening sitting in his house completely ignoring halloween. Miserable old fella!

Some sort of communication cock-up between the supplier & fitter means that I'm still having to use waterproof gaffer tape over the hole in my old bath so I can have a shower - a new fitting appointment to install the new one has been made for Wednesday. I took my frustrations out on a bike ride despite the miserable greyness of the weather.

In better news the gig ticket was secured, hotel booked, solar panel deposit paid and insurance claim submitted, accepted and passed on for final approval.

One act drama festival was really good, although two of the plays were rather heavy and a wee bit disturbing in some way.

I got stuck in the middle of a row where nobody was moving at the end so got forced to listen to the expert dissect and critique the plays.
