Fabby supper of beetroot soup, then roast beef (medium rare), new potatoes with garlic butter, steamed green beans and a tomato salad. The world is a very good place right now.

P.S. the beef, potatoes, butter and beans were on YS, the tomatoes were home grown and the apples and beetroot were freebies.

Right, after substantial effort, the red wine carpet stains have gone entirely. The problem, however, is that the part I cleaned is now too clean. I think I need to give it a bit of a walkover with my walking shoes one
