I discovered this morning why bottles don't go into the Merida Cyclo-Cross' bottle cage properly; it's cracked.

Finding a yellow and silver bottle cage as a replacement is nigh on impossible.

what color is the bike? guess you'll have to settle for a solid color?

It looks like this (seller's photo, not my bins) although now has mudguards and a different white Fabric saddle plus a wider Ultegra crankset. I really should take a proper photo of it:

I think I'd go for black to match the wheels, seat post, saddle, and bar tape.

The oddest Halloween costume I saw last night had the face completely obscured with cloth. So, unable to see, he (she?) was relying on the mother to hold a hand and be the guide. Only she guided him head first into a bus shelter. It made quite a bang.

A grey and still day here chez Casa Reynard. I have not been outside, so I do not know how mild or otherwise it might be.

Did not sleep well - took me an age to drop off as I felt SO cold. When my feet are cold, it makes me pee more (go figure that one out!) so that added to the nocturnal misery. I did have to get some extra fleece throws and a hot water bottle to make myself comfortable.

I have spent the morning doing further planning / fleshing out of the plot for a chapter that is on the horizon. It has involved looking up stuff in my archive to make sure that certain factual bits are correct.

I do not need to do much in the way of cooking today, but this afternoon's tasks will involve putting things in the freezer.

Anyways, it is just about time for luncheon.
