Foggy start to the day and light rain is forecast.
Got a pack of beef mince to cook so a long slow simmer with whatever veggies I have plus a small amount of pearl barley and if it needs thickening I bung in some red lentils.
Medication to collect from the chemist but otherwise nothing planned.

I don't bother with that one. Works fine without knowing the time and sits there with a blank display when not in use presumably saving a smige of electricity.

Why is the retirement thread closed.?

I left the retirement thread some time ago as one member had a screaming hissy fit and threatened to leave over a fairly innocuous remark I made so I don't miss it.

Oh! We had a Greater Speckled Woodpecker on our bird feeder. Yesterday a female Sparrowhawk visited it .

Good morning from a grey, overcast Suffolk although I don't think there was any rain overnight. Coffee has been had.

Bedding changing and washing is all that needs to be done today. No lunch out today as I'm away on Wednesday and will make up for it then.

I can have a shower tomorrow.Due to instructions not to get site wet.Been doing strip wash,not the same.Anyway its wonderful how many bluebottles the fly trap has caught.So one of the team rang this morning.how was i managing,and is there any pain.Yes there is i replied in just one area.where is the area Mr Mee,all of soddin Meanwood i replied.
