Turned out a nasty cold wet day.
Attempted a walk but bailed out and ended up at my wildlife pal's place for afternoon coffee.
Managed to get the car clock reset without too much swearing.
Living room curtains are pulled over for the first time in months, partly to hid the misery outside and also conserve some heat. There is also the problem of the holiday house which is still occupied and they seem to have a searchlight which shines in my windows causing annoyance.
I do complain a lot about them but they really are an antisocial bunch who consider themselves superior to the local peasantry.
Not sure It is safe to mention that they come from Yorkshire.

If you’ve managed to set your car clock could you pop down and set the clock on my oven.

Looks for all the world like our freezers kicked it. Top shelf won't freeze after the door was left slightly ajar last night (accidentally of course). Dont really understand why it didn't alarm but now I can't hear the compressor running...looks fubared. Bugger, of course it's full....

Ah man, I feel your pain. Been there earlier this year with the freezer in the utility room going *fzzzzzt*, and the water peeing out of it then fubaring the fridge beneath it.

Have you got a friend / neighbour / family member who can offer you some freezer space at short notice? Else it's triage everything, and cook what you can. Once cooked, stuff will keep reasonably well.
