Hoppy Birdday @ PeteXXX.
Have birthday @PeteXXX
Did raise that incident afterall and quickly got a notification of being my fault If you play the video from immediately before the incident when traffic had halted at a pedestran crossing then the fact I caught up is hardly a fault so the message must be stay well behind a vehicle in front at such a situation.
Lidl analogue clock once again not automatically updated. Now sat saying 11 - waits to see what happens then. Thought my clock radio had gone wonky but it seems to be the flipping voice tracked not strictly live radio output being 5 minutes early.
Knew finding the ointment on Friday would mean something else would vanish; small measuring jug I use for making gravy So looks like a hunt for a new one today. Can only think it somehow got mixed up with the bottle and can etc recyling that was collected mid week.
I will be drinking some afternoon beer on your behalf.
Happy Birthday, @PeteXXX , and many happy returns of The Day.

Candles have been blown out (just a couple, not 72 of them! 😂) and cake has been eaten. Pancakes for tea as per grandson's request 👌

Blimey Pete hope I am as good as you when I get THAT old 😉
Van Gogh could paint a bit. I could give you a review of all 61 paintings if you like but I have to tell you than in some foul calumny*, number 33 was missing. (View of La Crau from Montmajour, 1888)
*At least that was my concern when I asked the lady in the room where it should have been located. She roused from her (I kid you not) slumber and speculated that it might be in the room next door. It wasn't. Fortunately some further amateur sleuthing established that it has been removed, for reason unspecified.
I see this VanGough fellow is a it of a painter.Just googled him to see if he is available to paint our kitchen diner.Apparently he is dead Recommend some bloke called Banksy.Wasn’t clear if did wall papering as well.

We enjoyed cycling in Belgium and Antwerp was interesting as that is where we first landed off a passenger/cargo ship from Leith. Sadly that service is long gone.
The tunnel under the river was "interesting" as the elevator did not work and we had to go down the escalator with laden touring bikes. My wife had difficulty hold hers but fortunately a quick witted guy behind held on to it to stop a pile up if she lost control.
That was a looong time ago.
Just learnt both the Spar knot and Constrictor Knot. Not so different from the Clove Hitch knot but more secure for my use case.
