OK this could be trouble - the main CoOp in Felixstowe town centre is being sold or tranferred and will become a Sainsburys. No doubt this will mean cheaper food (CoOp known for making Waitrose seem like Aldi for prices) but it's the only place where I know I can get a Warburtons Super Toastie loaf (doorstep sized slices) and my favourite sausages (Craskes Original Norfolk - may be an own brand).

The sausages aren't an own brand.

They've been doing that a lot round here, Fosse Rd and Groby Rd both shut but to be fair there's a Lidl and an Aldi nearby plus the Glenfield Co-op is now a Morrisons. If they shut the one near us it will be a pain as that has had a busy post office in it for as long as I've lived here and the next closest is miles away

The rainy season continues. My umbrella was utilised on this morning's perambulation. The council still feel the need to send people out to water flowers. I would have thought the need to wear full waterproofs would have been a sign it's probably not necessary.

Roadworks still continuing and more detours for pedestrians. An A3 driver performed an emergency stop, hit a cone and came really close to hitting the temporary traffic lights which demonstrates how little awareness some drivers actually have. Someone needs to dress the traffic lights in his Vis so drivers can see them!

Well, at least my other meds were approved. Finally.
Medication in question is Amlodipine because it causes me hard-to-cope-with side effects and I want to stop taking it.

I am on Amlodopine and no side effects noticed. Are you willing to tell us what these side effects are?
I realise you may not want to reply and that is OK.

Car taken for its MOT and walk back home ended in rain. Re Co-ops they have not yet disposed of any in Harrogate. In Knaresborough they sold the biggest to Lidl who promptly demolished it and built a new store relocating from their existing. That old store had originally been a garden centre and now a gym. Two at petrol stations there are now Asda. My local Co-op is now the biggest and their is concern over the impact the Tesco will have when it eventually opens; can see it being sold to Lidl.
