I'm trying to decide how Powers compares to the Islay malts I sampled at the weekend.

Strictly in the name of science and medicinal use you understand.

/* Lights blue touch paper!
Finish yer testing and leave the blue touch paper for another night. You could end up doing serious damage, like spilling yer drink.

I live in what is likely the most heavily populated area of Canada.

So it’s nice to know it’s still acceptable to leave your Deere out on the lawn to cool after a quick blitz around the block.

Another bright sunny day with no wind so will probably just sit around in the sun mostly as nothing urgent needs to be done.

Traffic wars on FB again and driving standards are reckoned to be getting worse.
On my last trip I could see a convoy of vehicles approaching with lorries mixed in so I pulled into a passing place reasonably well in advance to give them a clear run. An idiot came up behind and without looking ahead shot past to meet the convoy head on.
Chaos ensued and they had to do a lot of reversing which they were not good at.

Read last night that Martin Luther is the patron saint of tourists.
In 1503 he preached that religious pilgrimages should be banned as too many hot polloi were wasting work time.
It was acceptable tho' that the middle and upper classes of society should travel to look at strange places for curiosity and amusement.
Now we suffer from a surfeit of gawkers.

Friday, payday and sunny! It was glorious on this morning's perambulation.

I work until 2 today. I will be a volunteer at an event in the park this evening. It's funny that with all this nice weather all week, for various reasons, I haven't got out on the bike.

There is always tomorrow.

Good morning from Suffolk where, after a cloudy and breezy start to the day, the sunshine is starting to show through. I didn't do more than normal yesterday, but I must have worn myself out somehow as I slept for over 8 hours for the first time in a long while last night.
As a result the first coffee of the day was much delayed and breakfast looks like it's going to be elevensies instead.
Should be able to have a couple of hours out again this afternoon as there's nothing else I need to do today.

Still waiting for MSVR to upload the entry lists for the weekend's meeting at Snetterton so I can decide which day to go - Saturday looks like the best day to go weather wise, but Sunday looks to have the better racing but worse weather :rain::rain:
