Somehow a pack of custard doughnuts made it into my shopping basket while I wasn't looking.

I have a solution for that problem.

There's much evidence of the overnight rain though.

The fire brigade were attending to a Merc C Class which seems to have suffered an under bonnet fire.

Now waiting to see if I get a round or square plate.

I know you're not keen on "boy racer types", but wasn't that a bit extreme!

Coffee break time as I've completed the necessary maintenance on all 7 bikes. Next up is getting the eBay pictures sorted out and then listing the bits.

The 'proper' rain only started a little while ago as it's been mostly drizzle up to then.

Mild, grey and soggy here chez Casa Reynard. It has just about stopped raining after hosing it down since early doors. We do still have showers forecast for the afternoon.

Slept well. Have done a load of laundry, but otherwise have spent the morning working on a couple of different writing projects. One of which is an assessment of the apple varieties in the community orchard.

I am currently listening to the F1 qually from Zandvoort and am about to have some luncheon.

YouTube to the rescue, TV hardly responding to the remote. Change of batteries did not improve it. Solution was to remove the batteries and hold the power button down for at least 30 seconds, to fully discharge the remote, then push each button in turn in case one was stuck.
