Very windy and a strange banging noise on the side of the house turned out to the door gas meter cover. A while later and once again the seed feeder on the lawn, at least the mixing bowl sourced 🐿️ baffle didn't break in the fall. Had put an extra nut on the bolt but looks like a proper lock nut is required.

Money has been spent and I'm having a quick drink to soften the blow to my wallet.
Got to the showroom and the same salesman I saw on Wednesday was there - with the good news that the sofa I wanted was being reduced by over £150 I wasn't going to turn that sort of discount down and it should be delivered in 6-8 weeks

Just back from my op, (infected toe removed, again). Outpatient, so only there for 5 hours total. All went well. Back to work pending okay from the sawbones week after next, or the one thereafter.
