nah , you just build a load of houses and let the already overstretched infrastructure sort it out .

They did that in the 60's in Enderby* when they built the 'Wimpey' estate, depending on whereabouts you lived it was at least half a mile and for others a mile or more. Still at least back then there were 'mobile' grocers Vans.

*Technically the estate was in Narborough Parish.

Another sunny day on the cards, morning jobs all done so nothing else to do.
Until the current load of washing is ready for the line think another :cuppa: is in order as I wait.

Good morning from Suffolk where the sunshine is just starting to show after a very dull & cloudy start and there's a nice easterly breeze keeping the temperature down. The first coffee of the day has been had and required a fresh pack to be opened.
All that's on the things to do list is a stroll up to the Post Office to drop off a couple of Ebay parcels and to start the car insurance quote hunt.

Morning work visits and for once a tractor pulled into its lay-by and the A61 crept up in speed slightly. Had one of those annoying vehicles in front that failed to indicate two roundabouts, both turning right. Did actually indicate at the third.
Eventually passed around a dozen cyclists, first up a tandem.
