They did that in the 60's in Enderby* when they built the 'Wimpey' estate, depending on whereabouts you lived it was at least half a mile and for others a mile or more. Still at least back then there were 'mobile' grocers Vans.

*Technically the estate was in Narborough Parish.

Good morning from Suffolk where the sunshine is just starting to show after a very dull & cloudy start and there's a nice easterly breeze keeping the temperature down. The first coffee of the day has been had and required a fresh pack to be opened.
All that's on the things to do list is a stroll up to the Post Office to drop off a couple of Ebay parcels and to start the car insurance quote hunt.

Morning work visits and for once a tractor pulled into its lay-by and the A61 crept up in speed slightly. Had one of those annoying vehicles in front that failed to indicate two roundabouts, both turning right. Did actually indicate at the third.
Eventually passed around a dozen cyclists, first up a tandem.

Not a fan of the sweets though. Mints and toffees for me.

The ones in Thailand are ferocious! I once stayed for a month and had it every day for breakfast. It was 50p

p.s. .... nasi goreng and risotto are my all time favourites. My 80 yr old mum dislikes both. Mind you she once made me a tuna salad with strawberries in it, bleurgh!
