And they told us it was the Tories who were into taking things away.
They've not 'taken it away'....................Simply made it 'means tested'.

BP still cannot settle down.
Then there's something wrong with the kidneys.
So I'm staying in the hospital overnight for monitoring.
I hate hospitals but I was told going home isn't an option.
Why did those girl gymnasts waving on the TV just now make me think of the Telly Tubbies?
Why? Who are the Telly Tubbies?
Home sweet home. The main medication for this in my case is "calcium channel blockers" - Felodipine plus a low dose of Ramipril, which is an ACE inhibitor. Their basic job is to relax the blood vessels. Do either of those 2 meds sound familiar?
Home sweet home.
I've been prescribed Amlodipine and Doxazosin.
BP stubbornly refused to go down to normal despite both medications. I blame a ward full of beep - beebeep - bap - beep sounds from various devices and bunch of old ladies (one lady was 104 yo with no clue where she is, why and what's going on). Sleepless night. Include 2 nights when I had that awful headache and you will see that I haven't had a proper sleep for a few nights.
Last BP reading was 180/111 I think.
Told to be back to the hospital on Friday to check BP again and to give more blood. I've already got 2 nice bruises forming.
Got ultrasound done for kidneys/bladder. Apparently kidneys got some scarring. Got a referral to specialist kidney clinic (same hospital).
Basically I will be monitored to see if meds are suitable and to find out wtf is wrong with kidneys.
Now all both of my backpacks have got a handful of earplugs each. Just in case ...
