London has beeen ridden and I'm not sure I want to do that again for a while. The roads are good enough, the route was fine and I could put up with the traffic, but the errant pedestrians/sightseers, food delivery e-bike riders (don't think I saw a legal one) and the clueless Boris/Sadiq bike riders are an absolute nightmare.
If i go again, I think I'll just find somewhere to have a few drinks and just watch the world go by.

Sounds a lot like Cambridge, but on a bigger scale...

There was a short rain shower as I left Liverpool Street Station at about 12:30. I wonder if it was the same one heading northish.

Cambridge I can put up with by mostly keeping away from the touristy bits. Unfortunately today's ride took me right through and over some of the worst touristy bits.

Mmmm yeah. You go elsewhere for retail therapy, but Cambridge is my nearest / most convenient, and ergo I can't really avoid the touristy bits. OTOH at least there are plenty of bike racks...

The ride in from Cambridge North station right into town is actually quite enjoyable.

Been furkling through a chapter of "Never Look Back" and have spotted another couple of glaring errors. This time, in the copy. I mean FFS, how much time does it take to grab a copy of Autosport or MN or even to ask Mr Google and cross check your bloody data?!?!?!

Mr. Portillo had to do the cooking tonight, as I wore myself out cutting brush around the ranch. Mrs GA drove into town for it, an Italian beef and French fries. Followed by their German chocolate cake. An international meal. Typically American. Except for the fermented pickle, Drs orders.

Owned and experienced a tandem. Neither party liked it so sold it does that disqualify me?
