I was in the local A&E when the first episode of Casualty was broadcast. The staff taking turns at watching it, seeing how true to life it was.The TV in Epsom hospital's A&E unit has just showed "Inside the Ambulance" and "999 Rescue Squad", much to the consternation of the head nurse.
There's about 20 of us in the queue, we insisted it stay on!
Torties don't seem to be that common in sanctuaries; mostly tabbies, tuxedos & gingers. Although we do have a couple of torties just now.I have been looking for a shorthaired tortie,

But apart from a preference for DSH cats, I look for the personality which I believe is much more important than colour or breed.
Although having said that, it is very rewarding getting a rescue cat with issues and working them round.![]()
