Oh dear. As I've amply learned in the last six weeks, feet can be a bit of a nightmare when things go a bit wrong. We take them so much for granted.

Yes,very. Still not out and about after last surgery/amputation due to damage from diabetes and infection of recurrent sores as well as complications, maybe another month or so.

Hope you're out and about before cabin fever sets in.
Sorry to see the piece about recurring infections, heal well.

Spent the last few weeks soul searching , still not found it. Been at work all week which has not helped 1st lot of shifts since Christmas. It just get's worse. Being asked for my time sheet even though I'd not finished for the day. Was not a great move so left early on Friday before I told them what I think. Then got asked why i've not given in my availability for next few weeks. They sent an email 2 weeks ago, no they've not no-one in our team has one.
Oh well at least its stopped rain ... oh

It's been a Mr Noah kind of day here chez Casa Reynard.

Felt bloody awful yesterday as well, so kind of hibernated and felt sorry for myself. Today is a bit better, just feel sore and washed out now. Not done very much apart from watching assorted videos on the Tube of You.

Put out the play tunnels for Madam Lexi, and she's been having a right ball with then. No matter how grotty I feel, it always makes me smile, seeing her enjoy herself.

Just sitting enjoying a :cuppa: and some biskits.

I just seen a post in Facebook where someone is proud their grandfather worked on the Titanic. Is building a ship that sank on its maiden voyage really something to be proud of?🤔

Well, her sister ships put in a half decent shift after lessons had been learnt. You can't blame the grunts in the shipyard, it's the incompetence and complacency of those in charge that was at the root of the problems.

I seem to remember a program once explaining the hull design was a wrong meaning it had a weakness even before it set sail.
Having bulk heads only about 5ft high was never a great idea either. If only they'd followed Brunel's ship design principles it's no accident they still hold now.

Mostly dry but a couple of light showers late afternoon as I was driving down to the ferry which was full with cars and lots of foot passengers.
The hospital consultant from Oban I saw last week was over again doing a weekend on the island and I noticed he had not changed out of his hospital clothing so must have been a bit rushed. He obviously brings his own car over as I spoke with him as he was heading for the car deck.
There is a hospital car left near the ferry for nurses mainly and I remember the specialist nurse who came to my wife every week used it. She complained bitterly as some visiting doctors took it up to the hospital but never put it back so she had to walk to the hospital to get it.
Stopped at a chip shop in Oban because there was a parking space but must remember not to make that mistake again. I was not impressed the last time I stopped there and was even less impressed this time.
