Those weather forecasts of heavy rain down here have resulted in a bit of meteorological contrariness. Sun and a bit of blue and lots of different cloud formations. It's a cloud salad.

Still foggy round the edges but not actually raining yet.
Nothing planned apart from at some point I must get outside for some exercise.

Isle of Tiree just west of us claims to be the second wettest place in the UK just now and the crofter posting says the sheep have nominated a lifeguard.
Normally it is reckoned to be dry but very windy. Residents who come to the mainland are easily recognised by the lean when they walk to counteract the missing wind.
No idea where the wettest place is but we must be near the top of the list just now.

Good morning from Leicester where it appears to have stopped raining at last. Just finished a very large cooked breakfast and now having a final coffee while letting breakfast settle before heading off to the rail station for the journey home.

Rail replacement bus for the last leg.
