Well here's summat that might shock you, I don't know how he celebrated the new year on the Spring Byington Show either. And until now, I'd never heard of it.

A little more favored to MacLean Stevenson, previous C.O. of the unit. The people he refers to in his anecdotes were actually people who lived here. I have been to the country club he speaks of. And one of the hospitals, in an extended guest role and recurring character.

My father was in that part of Korea after WWII but before Korea, he said it did look a bit like the part of California they used for filming.
