It is dark but dry out this morning.
They announced that 56% of the country was powered by wind yesterday.
Does that mean that I should feel proud that after struggling against the wind on my ride yesterday that it's effects were more than outweighed by it's positive effect on my way back home ?

On my 1st trip (hopefully my only one) will add 216, Ilkeston & back. Slightly more distance due to the route around a 14'6" bridge with a 16' trailer.. 👍

Having a bit of an argument on another site over my chrome plated cranks as compared with anodised. From what I have just read , anodising uses aluminium oxide to deposit a coloured layer on . Looking at some examples of anodising all I can find at the moment is satin finished parts. My cranks are mirror finished . They also have a copper base layer. Which just because of Sods Law will not peel off giving me a nice piece to work with . I have some tiny flakes soaking in lime juice at the moment trying to reveal the copper colour.
