What did Leeds accuse you of doing?

Stealing their flag?

Stealing their flag?
If they turn left at the bottom of the Headrow, where the police station was, and head away from the bus station, there's a flag supplier on his right. About ten minutes walk from the pub that were next door to the police station.
They'd have these in stock...

They laid a bus lane trap around some very poorly laid out roadworks back in early spring. Then I didn't get the first notification, if it had ever been sent out, and the second notification did not allow for appeal. So I got hit with a doubled fine.
I'd have claimed against those doing the roadwork layout.
Most of them aren't from Yorkshire, with at least one contractor having having a red rose on their vehicles!

It's difficult to do that from 200 miles away, without photographic evidence. I'd rather have funded Leeds City Council via hotels, parking charges, and brewers but they chose a dodgy way of funding themselves. (Luckily, Northern Monk use Evri - and not black-listed DPD - for their Patrons deliveries, so I still get some regular Leeds beer.)

After the three year long fiasco of the Exchange Street closure 'experiment' here in Norwich, a County Councillor has unilaterally decided to re-open said street to general motor traffic.
However, he has said that the proposed permanent alteration of St. Andrew's Street to one way only will go ahead.
As St. Andrew's Street is a busy 'feeder route' into the city, will be interesting to see the knock on effect.

I might get some cash from under the mattress and have a spend week after next.I don't plan anything after the chemo treatment, which is Thursday this week. But i fancy a fleece and a pair of trainers. And Sports Direct have something i like.A Regatta top and Karrimor trainers, and at affordable prices.Methinks a shopping day out cometh.

I think York did something similar a few years back.Closed a major road into the city then opened it up again after a furious backlash.Council eh.

North Yorkshire seem to specialise in announcing road alterations and then not doing them. The road round the back of the Harrogate conference centre was stated as being made left turn only where it joins the A61 - never happened. Similarly a road that forms a rat run to and from the Conference centre/town centre was to be made one way. That never happened. It is a bus route away from the town and with parked cars down one side it's common to find a bus and a car stuck on it until the car driver backs down. During the 2019 UCIs parking was banned on it and diverted buses ran both ways; one bus driver exclaiming joyfully why cannot it not be like this all the time.
