Lovely day so just spent the afternoon clearing the long over due areas of the back garden. That got left due to the Robin nesting and blackbird who kept thinking about setting up home. Turned out we had two Robins nests one has an egg left over. Found out the blackbird did build a nest but never moved in.
It's looking good now areas and the grass still look a bit unkept but they will come back in time. Now you can see the space again it reminds you that it's nat a back size. Needs planning out right should be able to have practical yet wildlife friendly space. May even fit a little hide away it in too.

DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
I've finished repairing the section of the conservatory that had rotted away, now filled with fresh wood and painted.

Also finished repairing SWMBO's car; the wheel arches are painted after previously being sanded / filled / primed and I've now added fresh underseal behind. Whilst doing that I saw a small hole in the sill :cursing: . That's been filled and both sides painted along with two sections of the rear floor where the protective paint had come off all of it; that's had black rust-proofing paint on. Hopefully it'll mean the car is OK for at least the next year, and pass an MOT in January, whilst we save up for a replacement. SWMBO commutes on motorways during the winter and the last couple of wet winters have caused issues.
