Been watching a top-to-bottom video tour (on youtube) from 1995 of the old MV Prins Albert tied up on standby in the harbour at Oostende.

Noticed that my uncle was on the crew roster that particular day.

Kinda cool.

All the talk of flu/Covid jabs earlier made me check and I'm not eligible for either this year - too young! With any luck work will allow us to book one at a local pharmacy and reclaim the cost as they have in previous years.

And the random microwave direction hot chocolate making winning streak has been reset to zero.

Aside from your recent bout of Covid giving you a decent load of anti-bodies, you would otherwise be eligible due to the parental unit being in a vulnerable group. I take it she has also recovered.

Yeah, mum's on the mend too. Thank goodness she didn't have it nearly as bad as me.

Last year, I got told to take a hike when I asked for a jab. Probably down to local penny-pinching bean counters.

An owl is lurking about and hooting. I've rarely heard owls and then only once, but this one is staying nearby and calling out repeatedly.

There's at least three nearby. All can be heard in the early hours. Along with the bats flying about.
Daylight hours can be quieter!

Tomorrow is, hopefully, a lazy day. Apart from walking the dog, pre-MOTing the car & fixing the 2 p*nctured tyres on the CX, I'm doing nothing!

Last bit of the video I've been watching showed the Princesse Marie-Christine unloading in Oostende. Nice surprise was seeing a Higman F2 stocker on a trailer (#555) behind a snazzily-painted tranny.
