This academic year I've got a HUGE module with around 500 students. And they've timetabled one seminar of the many we're delivering in the wrong place - which means a complete re-jig of all the delivery

First "proper" ju jitsu session last night after the summer recess (there was a class last week, but that was a non-syllabus session, learning "fun" stuff).

Today I feel like someone has "tickled" my left thigh with a cricket bat.

A belated good morning from a sunny Suffolk. Yet another day to be enjoyed with nothing planned except a trip into town for some milk as I've just used the last of what I had in the house on my breakfast.

Yesterday afternoon's family get together was a good time - none of us realised that we'd been nattering & eating for nearly three hours - but I think my debit card will take some time to recover from the bill.

Someone has just donated two first generation E-Bikes. I think we're going to need new repair stands if this keeps happening.

Maybe a forklift, GCN have a review of Amazon's cheapest UK legal ebike, actually with a rear hub drive rather than a front. Weighs 27kg

I love having sardines on toast, preferably the ones that come in tomato sauce.

I had a go with my Sigma 400mm lens yesterday. It's not too good on butterflies but on planes it's pretty good.

Warm and mostly sunny here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well, but still feel really bleurgh thanks to the dry cough, the snot factory and the fatigue. My get-up-and-go has well and truly gotten up and buggered off.

Madam Lexi is mithering me for her chicken, so it must be time for luncheon.
