Slept surprisingly well. Chest really hurts though, as something went *ping* in my ribcage while I was coughing last night. Have had a quiet morning enjoying the coverage of the Tour of Britain.

Loving the colour scheme of Harry Tanfield's bike - looks just like a tube of Refreshers!

Anyways, it is time for luncheon.

town police says the dog has been returned to it's owner & thanked me for the info I sent them this morning. happy puppy, now stay home or on your leash!

Ours had wanderlust when we first had her. Now she just comes a little way into the front garden.

On a similar theme. If there was doubt about the pronunciation of Scottish place names I listened to what BBC Scotland said and used the alternative with about 95% success rate on my part.
Goodness knows where they got their version from but certainly not a reliable source.

My new dog grooming scissors have just arrived be that bit easier next time Charlie has a fur cut.
The old ones are pretty rubbish. Bought a pair of thinning and safety scissors at the same time.

Large chunk of the afternoon spent giving the back of a neighbours hedge an acute trim which resulted in much cutting of branches. To the side the back of it to the neighbour with the overgrown garden has resulted in a tree evolving. Managed to get a lower overhanging branch chopped. The resultant opened up vista into the hedge was subsequently inspected by the other neighbours cat while I remained the requisite distance away

It's been a quiet and lazy day here in Covid Central Casa Reynard.

Much of which involved watching the ToB, dozing in the shade of a tree and reading. Currently watching the women's T20 match.

Still coughing, but not as bad as yesterday.

Time to feed the cat, and then it will be time to feed me.

I've just listened to Sue Cook and her advert on Distinct Cremations . If by any chance I am to be cremated instead of burried I wish to be packed full with fireworks! That should make it distinct !
