It's strange isn't it? When extroverts had to stay at home because of lockdown there wa much concern about psychological health because people couldn't be with people, but when it stopped this strangely didn't translate into a better societal understanding that this is how introverts feel all the time...

Perhaps the other side of the coin is that during the actual time of lockdown, introverts were, by and large, absolutely fine.

4 or 5 hours with the grandchildren has left me with a completely frazzled brain. But at least that's one birthday navigated. One more grandchild this weekend, then the daughter on Tuesday.

I reckon I could fit a day away to relax in the middle of that. I'm in favour of Sunday beer trips. The hotels are quiet and consequently cheaper, the taprooms are rarely very busy. I need to decide whether it will be Bristol or Cardiff. This is how my internal dialogues talk me into these trips....
