I have my bathroom window open and the neighbour had left his elderly Audi TDI idling below it and now my bathroom is full off diesel smoke.

I hate diesel VWs. The smokiest engines since the 180 Gardner.

"Taking it easy" isn't part of the agenda with my insatiably curious daughter: she wanted to see everything.

We eventually flew Newcastle-Amsterdam-Stuttgart, after arriving at the airport ridiculously early to counter the industrial action on Friday. This made a two hour flight into a 12 hour journey, but such is life.

Snuck out the back way.
We'll have to step up patrols on all roads* out next time.

Our Men's Shed is having an AGM this afternoon . We seem to be having them monthly !

Just rescued a young house martian from the bedroom. Once I’d opened the bigger window he found his own way out lucky. No harm done as I watch him fly high over the houses on the other side of the street. Lovely to see one so close up.

Grey, warm and humid here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well, but am still full of cold. Puttered around in the garden again this morning and have got all the funds in place for the car. Will have a quiet afternoon watching some cycling and working on the writing. If the garage haven't called me by tea time, I shall ping them a message to find out what's going on.

Rain is forecast here for this afternoon, but no sign of it as yet.

Anyways, it is almost time for luncheon.
