Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Had a quick visit to Manchester velodrome where son no. 2 tested out new gearing for the upcoming Irish track nationals at the end of this month. I did a few laps but was still tired after a 25-mile TT yesterday.

An early night before a long drive tomorrow; I'm heading to Lincoln to collect son no. 1 then we're off to Wisbech/Downham Market area as he has a job interview in the back of beyond. He doesn't drive yet so I'm chauffeuring.

On another note a big spider has moved into the hallway and is currently occupying the window next to the cacti. I'm leaving it there as it's being useful.

I sold my washing machine. (Fortunately, the old one, not accidentally the new one).
Thought the old one was buggered?

Entering our 5th hour at Kettering general hospital and getting bored is an understatement.
Waiting for results of a CT scan to check for internal bleed on swmbo so could be a long time yet .
Cost a lot of money tea is yuk
But otherwise all is good considering

And now 5 hrs later we are still Waiting to hear what's happening no matter how many people you ask you don't get an answer .
Been here nearly 12 hours only had blood tests , urine sample and a ct scan and no real news or updates they confirmed that there has and presume still is an internal bleed . Swmbo is in quite a lot of pain and discomfort and is shattered.

@biggs682 - hopefully you'll get progress soon.

My mum's been in hospital for a couple of weeks and spent 36 hours in A&E on a trolley waiting for a bed. In the end she was transferred to a different hospital.

That's awful. I hope you get some information and treatment going soon.

Funny that, her feeling better impacts on you. Be gentle with yourself. Not my specialism, but you know what I mean

Lexi has become very clingy, but alternates between mum and me. Still having a bit of a battle getting her to eat; chicken is a yes, wet cat food is a sort of, maybe. She has been nibbling on the dry, though.

We're all feeling Poppy's absence.

If you end up anywhere near Chatteris, Petrou Brothers' chippy is a good place to stop for a bite.
