Red Bull and Williams making it very clear today that Ricciardo and Albon respectively are in contract and will not be released to go to Merdedes in 2025. That limits their options somewhat. Alonso looking more likely as a placeholder until they can either groom Wuthell or raise some home grown talent from the lower formulae...?

Not surprised with Albon as he's the only reason Williams got paid last year.

Ricardo also as he will likely be placed back into the RB

The investigation into Christian Horner is about a complaint made by a female colleague and was prompted by allegations of "inappropriate & controlling behaviour", per The Times.

The Associated Press also wrote: "The complaint is allegedly about his aggressive management style."

Indeed. Are Williams really saying no, or are they actually making it clear far in advance that "its going to cost you biiggg time"?

As regards Ricciardo, I'm sure RB really do mean no.

It's been ongoing for a little while then if the meeting is set for Friday and the news only broke yesterday.

Wasn't there some rumour of RB Switzerland wanting to do this when Dietrich passed?

Got some popcorn and fizzy pop laid in for Friday!

Rumours abound that Newey's contract is reliant upon Horner being TP, and that if Horner should go Newey would be free to exercise a break clause, and probably would after going to the effort of getting such a contractual term in the first place.

My conspiracy is coming together.

Newey to Ferrari, with a gaggle of once loyal Merc employees following Lewis.

Ferrari to be world champions again by 2026/7

Oh aye, Ferrari are sheeting money since their shares shot up last week. They'd simply drive a dump truck full of cash to Newey's house and pop the question.

Newey's designs, some of RB's trackside personnel, and Lewis' close entourage could combine to make Lewis and Fezza a formidable challenger once more.

Almost everyone wins.

Liberty make a boat load of money

F1 gets a script you couldn't write.

Ham (if he won) gets the fairytale ending

Ferrari are winners once more

The Tiffosi are no longer sad.

Merc and RB get kicked back into touch.

And Andretti disappears from the headlines .

Seems to be an internal power battle going on within Red Bull themselves, since his death, not just the F1 side of their business.
With some wanting Adrian Newey gone as well.

Have you got a source for that ? I follow F1 gossip quite closely and it's the first I've heard.
