Don't you just love the F1 rumour mill, its an endless souce of amusement, and every once in a while they do get it right, we'll have to wait and see on this one.

It depends on who he brings with him. If he goes over just for the glory then it's @Phaeton post happening, but if he brings with him a group of people with the sole plan of making a champion for Ferrari then the story could be interesting.
Perhaps he knows the chances he has of getting a championeinning car in the ti e he has left is unlikely, and he'll go for the big pay day. I'm sure he'd still try his best nevertheless, but money talks...

We'll see. I'm not sure it woukd happen but I fi d this sort of gossip as interesting as he races.

It's Monaco this weekend so I'll probably give it a miss I'm sure it's amazing if you're there but a snooze fest otherwise

On the same day as F1 has its slowest race, America has the Indy 500 where the quaifying yesterday saw pole set at 234.2mph. I know which one I'll be watching once I've got home from the BRSCC clubbie at Snetterton, which shows how much I care about Monaco.

When I was a kid and moaned about Monaco my dad always said " When you understand why Monaco is special you'll understand why Formula 1 is special"

Oddly it's one of my favourites because of the precision needed to get fast laps , but it's rarely exciting otherwise.
I understand the skill level, but if they wanted to make interesting then it would be a 5 lap sprint with only 1 car on the track at any one time.

Personally, I think they are bad as each other? It's either 500 laps of an oval or 78 laps of a procession.
I've never seen the attraction of those American ovals.

Not sure, I think there is as much skill due to the higher speeds & the number of cars as Monaco
